In this class, students will:

Understand the structure of AQA Paper 1‍

  • Break down the paper into its key sections (e.g. Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology), including how marks are allocated and how to manage time effectively across the exam.

Decode AQA exam questions with confidence

  • Learn how to interpret AQA command words (e.g. outline, evaluate, discuss) and identify exactly what is required to access higher mark bands.
Recognise AQA question styles
  • Explore the different types of questions used in Paper 1, including multiple choice, short-answer, application questions, and extended 16-mark essays.
Apply examiner-led answer techniques
  • Gain key insights into how examiners award marks, including how to structure answers, apply knowledge to scenarios, use accurate terminology, and develop strong AO1, AO2, and AO3 responses.
Revise effectively for each topic
  • Learn revision strategies tailored to AQA Paper 1 topics, helping you retain key studies, theories, and evaluation points ready for exam success.

How do I book a class?

Book online and receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link and joining instructions. Join from any device at the scheduled time.

How do I book a 1:1 tutoring lesson?

Are classes suitable for all levels?

Yes. Sessions are designed for A level students of all abilities, including both year 12 and year 13 students.

How many students per class?

Each group has up to 6 students, allowing for individual attention and a focused learning environment.

Will I get exam practice during the session?

Yes. Every session includes exam-style questions and practice using past paper questions, along with guidance on how to structure strong AQA exam answers

Can I cancel a session?

If you need to cancel, you must do so by email at least 48 hours before the start of the 1:1 tutoring session or group class in order to receive a full refund.
