These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the purchase of online Psychology tutoring and exam skills workshops provided by Psych-eLearning.co.uk. By booking or attending any session, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Services Provided

1.1 Psych-eLearning.co.uk provides online 1:1 tutoring and small group exam skills workshops for A Level Psychology students.

1.2 Sessions are designed to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and develop exam skills to ensure students are fully exam-ready.

1.3 All sessions are delivered online via Zoom unless otherwise stated.

2. Exam Skills Workshops

2.1 Each exam skills workshop lasts one hour and covers the content outlined on the course page.

2.2 Workshops are designed in line with the AQA specification, but Psych-eLearning.co.uk is not affiliated with or endorsed by AQA.

2.3 Group sizes are strictly limited to a maximum of 6 participants to ensure personalised attention.

2.4 Participants must join using the Zoom link provided at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

3. 1:1 Tutoring

3.1 Each 1:1 tutoring session lasts 60 minutes.

3.2 Sessions are tailored to the individual student’s needs, focusing on content understanding, exam technique, and confidence building.

3.3 The structure and focus of each session will be adapted to support the student’s progress and exam readiness.

‍4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Bookings are confirmed only once full payment has been received.

4.2 Upon payment, you will receive a confirmation email with session details and the Zoom link.

4.3 Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or bank transfer.

4.4 We reserve the right to refuse access to any session at our discretion, including in cases of inappropriate behaviour or breach of these Terms.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 You may cancel a session or workshop for a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

5.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.

5.3 Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

5.4 If Psych-eLearning.co.uk needs to cancel or reschedule a session, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.

6. Attendance and Punctuality

6.1 Students are expected to attend sessions on time.

6.2 Late arrival may result in a shortened session without any reduction in fees.

6.3 Missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.

7. Code of Conduct

7.1 All participants must behave respectfully during sessions.

7.2 Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the session without refund.

7.3 Participants must follow instructions during sessions, including use of mute and chat functions where required.

7.4 Recording, copying, or sharing any part of the session or materials is strictly prohibited.

7.5 Session materials must not be distributed, shared, or uploaded online.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All materials, including slides, resources, and session content, remain the intellectual property of Psych-eLearning.co.uk.

8.2 Materials are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

8.3 Any unauthorised reproduction or distribution may result in legal action.

9. Technical Requirements

9.1 You are responsible for ensuring access to:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A suitable device
  • Zoom software

9.2 Psych-eLearning.co.uk is not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s side.

10. Academic Disclaimer

10.1 All sessions are provided for educational purposes only.

10.2 While we aim to support academic improvement, we do not guarantee specific grades or exam outcomes.

11. Safeguarding (Under 18s)

11.1 For students under 18, booking must be made by a parent or guardian or with their consent.

11.2 Sessions are conducted in line with appropriate safeguarding practices.

11.3. To support safeguarding and quality assurance, 1:1 tutoring sesssions may be recorded.

11.4: Recordings are made strictly for safeguarding and internal review purposes only and will not be shared, published, or distributed publicly.

11.5. Recordings are stored securely using trusted platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams and are accessible only where necessary for safeguarding purposes.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

12.1 Personal data is used only for booking, communication, and delivery of services.

12.2 We comply with UK data protection laws, including GDPR.

12.3 Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where necessary (e.g. Zoom).

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1 Psych-eLearning.co.uk is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Technical disruptions beyond our control
  • Missed deadlines or exam performance outcomes

14. Force Majeure

14.1 We are not liable for failure to deliver services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Internet outages
  • Illness
  • Power failures
  • Government restrictions

15. Amendments

15.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

15.2 Updated Terms take effect immediately upon publication on the website.

16. Governing Law

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

16.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
